Philosophy Statement
VOW NOW Academy offers a superior academic foundation in culture conducive for Christian learning. The kindergarten, elementary and secondary school programs seek to develop the total student: emotional, intellectual, physical, social and spiritual. Curriculum is taught from a Christian perspective that nurtures love and understanding for the whole child. The educational program teaches the skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to enable each student to serve as positive productive citizens with a strong spiritual foundation.
Located in the sprawling community of Tallahassee, Florida, VOW NOW ACADEMY offers K‐12 students and their families unique christian instructional experiences. As the only individualized learning curricula and Montessori learning school in our area, we provide an education rooted in the benchmarks and biblical teachings that is relevant to today’s culture while meeting the demands your child will face in life beyond graduation. Because the challenges for 21st century youth are so demanding, we do not see our role solely as a college prep school, but as an overall preparatory academy that focuses on academic, life skills and personal growth in order to fulfill their path to the next step whether its college or career calling on their individual lives. While VNA has clearly established the parental role as the authority over children which includes educating and discipling them, many parents understand that this task is best accomplished in the structure of a like‐minded community that encourages and builds up both the student and the family. Our goal is to help our students tap into the creative minds, while preparing them to be secure in their academic achievement while paving their way to academic success. VOW NOW Academy provides just such an environment for both students and families to thrive!
